A multipurpose savory dip & spread that is nutty and sweet in taste, with a slight hint of spicy. This is a perfect dipping sauce for fresh vegetable sticks and grilled meat. Traditionally used as a table sauce for lettuce wraps (known as 'ssam’), or dipping fresh vegetables. Make your own 'ssam’ variations with BBQ meat, fish, or with rice only. Spread over hamburger, taco, or sandwich to add a rich savory flavor. For a more fresh taste, add some chopped onion, cucumber and scallion right before serving.
